D-TECH Drives Digital Vaccine Project to Create High-Quality Digital Citizens and Reduce Inequality.

The Digital Technology Knowledge Network Association (D-TECH) is driving the Digital Vaccine project in collaboration with partner organizations to create high-quality digital citizens and support the development of a digital citizenry to reduce inequality.

The Digital Technology Knowledge Network Association or D-TECH, together with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society (MDES), the National Digital Economy and Society Agency (ONDE), the National Statistical Office, and over 10 partner organizations, has announced its commitment to driving the Digital Vaccine project to create digitally literate citizens with international standards under the concept of "Thai Digital Citizen Alliance".

Mr. John Rattanaveroj, President of D-TECH Association, said, "In the digital age technology plays a significant role in our daily lives and there is growing inequality in society, digital inequality is a serious concern. The widespread impact of technology and the current uncontrollable competition make it imperative for individuals to be digitally literate. This enables them to fully utilize technology safely. The Digital Vaccine project is a crucial factor in developing the capabilities of Thai people to keep pace with the changing digital world and to prepare for the creation of digital citizens and prevent online threats in today's Thai society."

Digital Vaccine:

A Thai developed global standard platform creating a Digital Citizen Ecosystem , including assessments, activities, and a full curriculum covering Digital Literacy, AI Literacy, and Sustainability Literacy. It provides a turnkey solution for learning and content creation citizens can become great Digital Citizens.

D-TECH's 3E+ mission :

Education: Building a foundation of knowledge for digital citizenship, with Thai standards reaching international levels.
Economy: Caring for and driving the economy, ensuring domestic stability.
Environment: Awareness of the environment and natural sustainability.

In 2024, the Digital Vaccine project, under the supervision of the D-TECH Association, has been established as Digital Vaccine Powered by DQ, an internationally recognized standard and the only association in Thailand that has been continuously operating (established on February 24, 2023). This standard has been used to develop content for official use in Thailand, focusing on developing digital competencies and raising awareness. Both D-TECH and its partner organizations aim to develop the digital capabilities of Thai people to meet international standards.

Key Features of Digital Vaccine Powered by DQ:

International Standards: Based on the DQ Global Standard on February 24, 2023, and OECD guidelines and IEEE Standard Association.
Comprehensive: Covers a wide range of digital skills, basic to complex.
Sustainability: Focuses on sustainable development, aligned with the SDGs.
Development and Up-to-date: Content and formats can be adapted to suit target groups and keep up with changing situations in different contexts, according to the four levels of public maturity.

The D-TECH Association invites all sectors to join hands in driving the Digital Vaccine project to create the largest number of Thai digital citizens as quickly as possible. The goal is to empower Thai people with the knowledge and skills to use digital technology effectively and safely.
